  • A traditional two-flap with a deeply-cushioned, stitched-on knee roll that provides superior comfort and support for the leg. Crafted in quality leather for the competitive rider who appreciates enhanced luxury.
  • A more minimalist look and closer-contact feel for the rider who doesn’t want the additional support provided by the larger block of our Classic Jump Cupped Flap.
  • A traditional two-flap saddle, specifically designed for the competitive rider looking to achieve a closer connectivity with their horse when jumping. While the rider appreciates the enhanced comfort and luxury afforded by this saddle, the horse benefits from all the research and development that went in to our Performance Products, including multiple girthing options and fitting features.
    • A precisely aligned seat to balance the rider over the fence and enable a close contact feel with the horse
    • Billet placement provides three girthing options to fine-tune the fit to the horse’s shape and movement
    • Luxurious double-oiled butt leather
    • Super-soft full grain hide on the seat
    • Stitched-on knee block are positioned to provide superior support for the rider’s leg in the shorter jumping length
    • The deeply-cushioned, soft knee rolls are able to accommodate a variety of upper leg lengths and provide optimum support and stability over the fence and on the flat
  • Following the unprecedented success of the Fairfax Gareth Dressage Monoflap saddle, we started to receive repeated requests for a more ‘feminine’ version. So we asked renowned producer of young dressage horses and equestrian style icon Rebecca Hughes to add some luxurious design touches.
  • Olympic medallist Spencer Wilton has been working with Fairfax for more than two years to refine and perfect this model that is stamped with his personal touch.  It features a new tree design that offers a roomier seat, plus a unique concealed, moveable knee block. The Spencer Monoflap benefits from all the features common to every saddle in the Performance range (see design details below), plus the following performance-enhancing details:
    • The seat is more ‘forward’ in order to precisely align the rider more ‘in’ over the horse’s centre of balance.
    • A unique knee block is hidden in the monoflap design. The position can be adjusted to give the rider incredible flexibility of support. (See Concealed Block below).
    • The 17½" and 18" saddles come with a choice of two block sizes. This choice, combined with the adjustable position, gives the rider even more flexible support options. (See Concealed Block below).
    • The seat is wider and more ‘open’ than the Gareth model. This will suit riders who prefer more room in the seat, or those who like a more relaxed dressage position.
    • The design and placement of the billets gives the saddle fitter two adjustment options to fine-tune the fit to the horse’s shape and movement.
    • Contrast stitching on the flaps and skirt.
This saddle was designed and tested using pressure mapping and gait analysis.

  • Dual-flap jump saddle which allows the horse greater freedom of movement and therefore increased clearance over the fence. The slim-line design improves the rider’s sense of connectivity with their horse, aiding unity and a closer leg contact.
  • Available in black only, this saddle will suit you if you like the flexibility of a moveable support block under the flap which can be positioned to suit your requirements.
  • Available in black only, this dressage saddle will suit you if you want the flexibility of a moveable knee roll under the flap which can be re-positioned to suit your requirements as your dressage position develops.
  • This GPD saddle will suit you if you prefer to concentrate on flatwork, dressage and hacking instead of jumping.
  • This has a different feel to our Universal GP; slim riders or those with narrower hips may feel it suits them better. The ‘compact’ refers to the neat seat which makes this a great option for the petite rider on a large pony or small horse.
